Plot – Raja Krishna Menon’s upcoming film ‘Airlift’ is based on 1990’s gulf war in Kuwait. Akshay is playing a businessman Ranjit Katiyal who wants to return his country during the war. Nimrat kaur is playing the wife of the businessman, who will always give support to his husband.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy has given the music in the film , T- series’s owner Bhusan Kumar and NIkhil Advani is also producing the film alongside Akshay Kumar. Purab Kohli is also playing the lead role in the film.

The story of the film revolves around a businessman Ranjit Katiyal who wants to return India with many people who all are living 

in Kuwait. This mission is one of the biggest evacuation mission of India. AKshay is claiming that audience will feel proud after watching this film.
